February Recap: Press, Power, and Positioning

tmanon1

February was a whirlwind month for us! As we celebrated Black Narrative Power Month, we were deep in the work—elevating voices, driving visibility, and making sure our clients’ stories reached the audiences that needed to hear them.

Kicking Off With a Campaign

We started the month strong with a press conference for Kelly Cheatle, who is running for City Council. Our team handled every press detail, from planning and setup to media coordination. The best part? Waking up the next morning, checking the news, and seeing the results!

Amplifying Black Narrative Power

As part of Black Narrative Power Month, we:✅ Dropped a journalist toolkit, pitching it to industry outlets and news sites.✅ Used our proprietary hookpoint and storytelling language to drive engagement—reaching 3,000 people in the first week.✅ Helped plan and promote an IG Live and livestreamed panel on Black narrative power.

Did it work? NY Amsterdam News featured it, and our team was front and center, presenting the message.

Beyond the Press: Strategic Positioning

Press isn’t just about headlines. It’s about nurturing the right contacts, strategically positioning supporters, and driving action. That’s why, in the middle of all this, we also continued our ongoing series to help you look better on camera—because great media presence matters.

We’re carrying this momentum into March—stay tuned!
